Nanny / Housekeeper (SE19)
Location: Crystal Palace
Notable Nannies are delighted to be working with a family in the Crystal Palace area of London SE19. The family are looking for a happy and energetic nanny who can provide care for their little boy who is aged 21 months, on an after nursery basis, with the essential hours being 3.00pm-6.00pm Tuesday through to Friday (12 hours).
In addition to being responsible for the little ones daily needs and wellbeing, keeping him safe, happy and occupied, the role will involve collecting from nursery and returning home, providing a healthy evening meal in addition to play and interaction with fun games and activities to keep the little one entertained and occupied.
The family are looking for someone who will be with them on a long term basis, they are able to offer up to 20 hours a week for the right person if they would be willing to undertake additional duties before the nursery collection. For the person to be able to do 20 hours a week, there would be the expectation that they take on some general household responsibilities, such as preparing a family meal, keeping the general areas of home clean and tidy, some household laundry duties, some errands.
The nursery is open all year round so will not need additional cover to cover for term time. A driver would be easier as the nursery is 25 minute walk away from the home (hilly route), however this is not an essential requirement.
The family are ideally looking for someone who is energetic and active, with a firm but fair manner, someone who is able to be keep up with the little boys energy and keep him occupied with a variety of age appropriate activities to encourage his creative abilities and his love of books. This would be in addition to someone who is able to support mum and the household when new baby arrives in 2021. The family are looking for someone who can offer reliability, consistency and a long term commitment to fit within the family dynamics.
The hourly rate will be around £13.50 per hour gross (equivalent to £12 per hour nett) and the position will commence beginning of October 2020.
