Nanny Housekeeper for family in Fulham SW6 (SP14)
Notable Nannies Limited are working with a family in Fulham (SW6) who are looking for a happy, positive and energetic Nanny Housekeeper to work with them on a long term basis. The family have one child aged 4 years and a new baby is due in the next few weeks. This is a bilingual family who would appreciate a Spanish speaking nanny to continue with the bilingual learning for the children.
The position is of a mixed responsibility which will involve providing after school care for the oldest, supporting mum with new baby in addition,to the general running of the household, keeping the home clean and in good order, running a few errands and preparation of simple meals. The family also employ a morning nanny housekeeper who has been with the family for the last 4 years and the cleaning element will be shared with her.
The childcare element will involve attending to all daily needs of the child, keeping him safe, happy, occupied and being responsible for his wellbeing, emotionally and socially. Supporting with homework and reading, in addition to encouraging interactive play, games and activities. This will then include some support with the new baby on arrival, initially working alongside mum before being more sole charge to enable mum to work on building her own business.
The hours required are:
Monday through to Friday (1pm-7pm) 5x6 hours
Saturday (8am-4pm) 1x8 hours
Total hours = 38 hours (This may change in the future once routines settle with the new baby.)
Weekly salary in the region of £540 per week (gross), (this is the equivalent to approximately £14.25 per hour gross/£11 per hour net)
A driver is not required. There are no pets within the household.
This position would suit someone who is energetic and active, with a firm but fair manner, someone who is able to be keep up with the energy of the little boy and keep him occupied with a variety of age appropriate activities and outings to support and encourage his varied interests. This would be in addition to someone who is able to exercise great common sense with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to take care of the smooth running of the household. We would be looking for someone who can offer reliability, consistency and a long term commitment to fit within the family dynamics and continue with supporting bi-lingual learning for the children.
A European passport is essential as the family would like the Nanny Housekeeper to accompany them occasionally when they travel to Paris and within Europe. This would usually occur as part of the weekend when the person would be working anyway,
A nanny housekeeper with excellent communication skills and a good use of initiative are essential as is the need for flexibility, mutual respect and transparency whilst appreciating the dynamics of being in a busy lively household.
Position to start beginning of September 2020.
