Live In Nanny (Oxfordshire moving to SW London)
A happy baby boy born in March 2020 is looking for a full time nanny. Ideal candidates are proactive, organised and bubbly. A nanny who is calm, friendly and has a warm presence.
This job has great live in nanny hours! You will be working Monday - Friday 8 - 6pm plus babysit twice a week. You will be required to proxy parent twice a month.
The six month old follows a daily routine. The nanny will take the baby for walks and plan appropriate developmental activities at home. It’s important you are chatty and lots of fun. A knowledge of Montessori is a bonus. The family would love a nanny who is enthusiastic about planning sensory activities and creative at coming up with educational activities.
The baby will have started weaning around the same time the nanny starts. The family is going to do a mixture of baby led weaning and purees. Helping with weaning is part of the nanny duties.
In normal circumstances the family are happy for you to take the baby to classes and for playdates however due to the current situation with Covid19 they do not want the baby socialising or using public transport.
Doing nursery duties, running errands and unloading the dishwasher are part of the nanny’s responsibilities. You will also need to batch cook meals for the baby. It’s a bonus if you are happy to prepare a simple meal for the whole family a few times a week.
The family has a King Charles dog. The dog is not the nannies responsibility.
At the moment the family are living in Oxfordshire. They are planning to relocate to London, within the next year (the timing of the move is dependent on the Covid19 situation). The live in accommodation in Oxfordshire is a bedroom and your own bathroom and living room area. Your accommodation in London will be confirmed as they are currently searching for an apartment (you will have your own room possibly your own studio apartment). Most likely you will be based in South West London. It’s a requirement you can drive so you can get out and about during your time in Oxfordshire. There is access to a car. The parents will be working from home. The Mum will commute to Amsterdam once a month for a week.
The initial interview will be via video followed by a trial session. Ideally the candidate will be able to start ASAP.
The family is very conscious about Covid19. The nanny will be required to have a COVID19 test before starting. The family will cover the costs. The right candidate for this job will also be cautious about Covid19 and have a high standard of hygiene. A candidate who is avoiding using public transport and avoiding travelling at weekends is ideal for this job.
The family is looking for a nanny who is happy to stay long term, build a strong relationship with the baby and help with teaching manners and boundaries.
This job will suit a nanny who is independent but also a team player and happy to keep the parents updated throughout the day. The family are very warm and welcoming and looking to have a very long term relationship with their nanny.
